F4C: Winter Warmth Continues

Warm Homes Healthy People in Bradford District are continuing their Winter Warmth Support over summer towards relaunching support in full ahead of Winter 2016 / 2017.

We also hope this will maximise the impact of some of the preventative interventions on offer around Fuel Debt and Home Energy Efficiency. This is available for service users to refer to alike, full details and the referral form are available on the F4C: Winter Warmth page.

WHHP have e-learning packages for organisations, teams and professionals engaging with service users directly in regard to Fuel Poverty and Debt first aid.

F4C: Winter Warmth Support 2015 – 2016

Warm Homes Healthy People (WHHP) partnership are preparing to launch winter warmth support services in Bradford.

We will update the site with further details upon launch.

The support available will be aimed at helping those vulnerable to winter conditions, due to health issues or financial situations through the winter period. Please return to the site for upcoming information regarding the launch of the service.

Warm Homes Healthy People Winter 2015 – 2016

The WHHP initiative for 2015 / 2016 is currently in development and will be launching soon. We will update with launch date and support options available, watch this space.

F4C: Winter Warmth Closed to Referrals

As of 31st March 2015 the Bradford Warm Homes Healthy People services are no longer open to referral for winter 2014 – 2015.

We will be updating the site with further information in the near future.

F4C: Winter Warmth

Please be aware F4C: Winter Warmth support closes for referral on Tuesday 31st March 2015. For anyone requiring support in the Bradford / Airedale area please ensure they are referred into the service before then.

 

The service continues to offer the following Winter Warmth support via professional referral:

  • Fuel Debt Advice
  • Home Energy Efficiency Checks
  • Practical Support
  • Home Fire Safety Checks
  • Practical Fittings Heat Loss Prevention Fittings.

Voluntary Community Sector Impact Research

We are currently undertaking research into the impact of Voluntary Community Sector support services on patient pathways.

The premise of this is to determine the benefit of VCS in supporting patients / service users also accessing NHS services.
